We are smack bang in the middle of the South African National Arts Festival...
Hosted annually in Grahamstown, this is one of the most memorable arts festivals you will experience in Africa.
Grahamstown is a small university town, that is transformed every year from late June to early July. The town gets taken over by arty farts from all across the world.
Small enough to walk from one side of the town to the other, transport is not an issue. Literally every corner of this town takes part in the festival.
Because it's set in the South African winter, gluwein and mulled wine are staples.
